What is the photochromic lens?

Photochromic lenses are eyeglass lenses that are clear (or nearly clear) indoors and darken automatically when exposed to sunlight.

Transmittance: 80%-18% (80% is light grey colour when in low UV, 18% is dark grey colour when in high UV) 

What is UV400 protection?

UV400 protection refers to a level of ultraviolet (UV) radiation protection offered by certain lenses, particularly in sunglasses and other eyewear. UV400 protection means that the lenses are capable of blocking all light rays with wavelengths up to 400 nanometers. This includes both UVA and UVB rays, which are harmful ultraviolet rays emitted by the sun.
